'The Wheel - Imbolc - Bud and Blossom' - Handcrafted Kiln Formed Oval Glass Bowl

Part of a series based on the Pagan Wheel of the Year. Imbolc falls halfway between Yule (Winter Solstice) and Ostara (Spring Equinox).

Spring is in the air, the clouds start to clear, the first buds appear on the apple trees and - perhaps most symbolic of Imbolc - snowdrops start to show their heads.

The surface pattern technique used to create these pieces allows colour and light to transmit through the vessel, evoking the turn of the Wheel.

Approx. dimensions: 24cm W x 7cm H

Technical notes: Sheet and powdered glass. Three firings. Dropped through a custom handmade aperture. Coldworked by hand.

All pieces include a dedicated box with protective packaging. Each box holds a card with care instructions on the reverse. Handwash is not food safe and is not designed for that purpose.
